1. Captain Kirk
2. Videoland
3. Weed Out The Weak
Editorial Review:
Bob Schneider's first single will be his catchy acoustic ditty Captain Kirk' loaded with a typical sense of dreamy idealism and poetic charm. In addition, the commercial version of the single will include two previously unreleased, exclusive bonus tracks. First up, the electrically charged rock tune titled Videoland', which playfully pokes fun at and pleasantly kitsch-ifies the rock n' roll lifestyle. The second and final b-side, Weed Out The Weak', boasts a trippy guitar line and weirdly laid-out vocals to reveal a Devandra Bernhardt-esque acid folk feel. Bob Schneider was born in Ypsilanti, Michigan, and raised in Munich, Germany and has written almost 1000 songs in his life time. Much later on, he moved to Austin, Texas and began his official music career when he was just 18. There, his music took off and has since formed the foundations of a genuine artistic phenomenon in the progressive Texan city. Truly a grassroots revolution built from the ground up, Bob's status as a pillar of Austin life is owed to a simple formula: remarkable charisma and extraordinary songs that add up to something you can't help but rally behind.
